Proof of Skill is WIN's approach to connecting career claims to supporting evidence: signed contracts, completed milestones, and endorsements from people or organizations involved in the work. It is the foundation for a portable, verifiable career identity.
How does a claim become verifiable?
In the proposed protocol, an employer, colleague, or client signs an attestation with their cryptographic key. A verifier can check the signer and whether the signed record has changed. Smart contracts can also record agreed milestones and their completion.
Does a blockchain prove that every claim is true?
A blockchain can make recorded evidence tamper-evident; a signature can show which key attested to it. Neither guarantees that the underlying claim is true. Reliable issuer identity, credible endorsements, and a process for disputed or revoked claims remain essential.
